One Source, Infinite Possibilities

If there is one thing I know for certain about myself, it’s that I see connection. A connector by nature, my mind has always arranged people, ideas, needs and possibilities almost like points on an internal map, with pathways between them that seem to light up on their own. I can often see where I fit, who should know whom, what resource might help, or where the next opening is with very little explanation. It happens quickly, almost instinctively. I recognize the connection, and then I go to work to make it useful.

That instinct has been with me for as long as I can remember. People come to me looking for an idea, a recommendation, a resource, the right words, someone they need to meet or a little perspective when they’re standing too close to something to see it clearly. And few things delight me more than realizing I know exactly what, or who, might help.

​

Over the years, I’ve built businesses, created spaces for community, developed offerings and projects, closed chapters, changed direction, questioned myself and begun again. There have been seasons when I knew exactly where I was headed and others when I had absolutely no idea. Through all of them, the same instinct kept showing up: connect, create, share lived experience and help make it all more accessible for someone else.

That instinct has taken many forms.

​

I help small business owners find the language for what they do, shape brands that feel like them, understand marketing and turn ideas into something they can actually utilize. I love taking something that feels overwhelming or out of reach and making it understandable, practical and possible. That’s The Walton Way.

Through Lot of Love, I work to create meaningful resources and wellness support for unpaid family caregivers, people carrying an enormous amount of love and responsibility every day. Community care matters deeply to me, and I believe we all benefit when the people doing the caring are cared for, too.

​

I gather people for sound, reflection, conversation and experiences that invite us deeper into ourselves and into connection with one another. My work in healing spaces has taught me a great deal about listening, presence, grief, change, the body and what happens when people feel safe enough to simply be where they are. Writing is another part of how I move through the world. Books, poetry, essays, stories and observations about this strange, beautiful experience of being human. It’s one of the ways I make sense of what I notice and offer it back. Sometimes those words stay on a page. Sometimes they become something you can hold, give, wear or keep. (The Store)

That same love of connection lives in PWRsource, a simple local resource for discovering conscious practitioners and spaces in the area. It gives people one place to see who’s out there, learn a little about what they offer, and work directly with them.

​

For a long time, I wondered where all of my interests belonged. Marketing, community, business, service, writing, healing, advocacy and creativity seemed to occupy different parts of my life, yet I kept showing up as the same person in each one.

​

Eventually, I realized the connection itself was the answer.

​

Everything I do comes back to people, possibility and the desire to help something meaningful find its way to the world. I care about supporting people as they bring their dreams to life, helping small businesses grow with their humanity intact, supporting caregivers, preserving the human experience, sharing useful information and giving creative ideas somewhere to land.

​

And I love the moment when I can say, “Let's create that together!,” or “Have you tried this?” or "I have an idea." or, quite possibly my favorite, “There’s someone I would love to introduce you to.”

​

Maybe that’s why the octopus has stayed with me all these years. There are a lot of arms here, reaching into different parts of life and bringing back ideas, people, resources, stories and possibilities. Somehow, they keep returning to the same place: community and connection.

​
