THEIR SONG
IN A FEW WORDS
Evelyn had a way of making people feel remembered. She noticed the little things, kept the stories, saved the cards, and somehow always knew when someone needed a phone call, a meal, or a little more time at the kitchen table.
THE HIGHLIGHT REEL
Evelyn loved long drives with nowhere particular to be, old family photographs, garden tomatoes still warm from the sun, handwritten recipes, and the kind of Sunday dinners that somehow stretched into evening.
She raised two children, adored becoming a grandmother, and never missed a birthday if she could help it. She laughed loudly, cried easily, and kept a collection of mismatched coffee mugs because every one of them had a story.
She could make a meal out of almost nothing, remembered everyone’s favorite dessert, and believed there was always room for one more chair at the table.
Her family still tells the same stories, repeats the same sayings, and catches pieces of her in ordinary moments. A recipe card in her handwriting. A song coming through the radio. A flower blooming exactly where she planted it years ago.
She was deeply loved. She still is.
